Home Decor: Think Pink

Two days ago I got an envelope in the mail, it was from my sister! I rushed up to open it and in it was an amazing magazine! It is the March issue of Home Beautiful and it is beautiful!! I just wanted to jump into the magazine and live right there on all pages. I scanned some images to share, but they are not the best quality, sorry! It kind of reminded me of Emily from "Cupcakes and Cashmere"  her office space. I love all of it besides the great color, they always find the best pieces to funk up a space. I'm still working on my house, it's been going a little slow lately since I've started working but I will keep you posted on the progress of my home decorating. If you hadn't seen it already click to see this post of one finished corner in my house!

Outfit Post: Colors of the Curacao Flag

I had to pass by school and run some errands today. I discovered that I like wearing navy especially with striped clothes, it's just that it makes me feel like spring together with floral print. I recently (last summer) started wearing yellow as well, I never did before. The combo navy and yellow just makes me think of my home town's flag though. Anyway the weather is gorgeous out! Can't wait to sit outside again!

Pineapple Upside Down Cupcakes

For those who follow me on twitter might have read that I was baking yesterday! I had 2 parties to attend last night. The second party was a sushi dinner party and so I made this dessert. It was fun making this, so different from regular cupcakes! I definitely advise to try these one day!
Ingredients;

Topping;
(20oz) can crushed Pineapple
1/2 cup melted butter
3/4 cup packed brown sugar

Cupcakes;
1 cup soft butter
1 cup fine white sugar
2 cup self rising flour4 eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla extract

Preheat oven to: 350*F/175*C

Grease a 12cup muffin pan and dust with flour.
In the bottom drizzle 1tbsp butter, 1tbsp pineapple and 1 tbsp brown sugar.

Spoon batter on top of the topping in each cup.
Bake for 25 mins.

Let cool for +/- 10mins. Serve with whip cream or ice cream (optional).
Bon Appetite!
