Outfit Post; Vintage Onesie

Yesterday was another awesome day in Amsterdam. I finally got to wear my vintage onesie I thrifted earlier this year, when it was still cold out. The onesie is so airy! nice for hot days like these. Yesterday I met up with some friends, roamed the market and had some lunch. It was too hot so we went home to cool down, have an iced-coffee and did some crafting. Later I spontaneously got invited to go on a boat with some friends (which you might have seen on Instagram), it was an even more perfect ending to an already awesome day.

Styling Tips; Printed Shorts

We've been blessed with some summer weather this week! I love it so, Amsterdam turns into a big happy city. People sitting anywhere and everywhere, along the canals on the side-walk and the park is crazy! As long as people soak up some sun rays, we will all be good!

Corn Muffins in a Can

Happy Sunday! today I'm sharing a nice treat, perfect for weekend brunch.
 This time I went for the undomestic ways again. I like the "just add milk and eggs" pre-packaged mixes. Then just add something different to make it my own. Instead of using regular baking tins, I used cans.

 I added corn for a extra bite to the muffin and before serving it I topped it off with some squashed avocado, but why not try;

-Caramelized onions & cheddar cheese

-Sun-dried tomatoes & Koriander 

-Topped off with sour cream and chives

One of my favorite pieces to wear on my day off is a jeans dress. I have one that I have worn so often that I don't dare to wear it no more(one post "here" another "here"). But jeans dresses are so easy! Even though it is more of a casual piece, you could dress it up or down.

Weekend Delights; Outfit, Flowers and Lunch ideas

One of my favorite pass times should be roaming the market, getting inspired by all sorts of things, getting some fresh goodies and flowers. That's exactly what I did the other day. 

*Why not arrange your flowers in one of these (hermetic) jars instead of a regular vase.

Crostini Lunch;

Use rustic bread, that is bread that is a bit dense and chewy. With a baking brush, brush on some olive oil and toast in over for a few minutes.

Crostini 1. Soft goat cheese with nuts and honey, from the oven.

Crostini 2. Raspberry jam (or any other tangy jam), Parma ham and topped with arugula salad.

Crostini 3. With home made chunky guacamole. (Chop avocado, red onion, tomatoes add some lime/lemon juice salt and pepper)
