Last minute DIY; Hostest Gift / Center Piece
We are approaching the last week of the year, it is super busy; work, shopping, holiday parties. Did you forget to get your host a gift or a center piece for your cocktail party??
Here is an easy and fast last minute holiday DIY!
Both candles and cinnamon should be available at your local supermarket.
What you need;- Plain candles
- Cinnamon sticks
- Festive ribbon
- Elastic band or glue
1. Slip the cinnamon sticks between the candle and the elastic band or individually glue the sticks on.
2. For finishing touch tie a ribbon and or bow around the candle with the cinnamon sticks.
Et Voila! Ready to set the mood right

Breakfast at Fayme's in the Kitchen; Spiced Pumpkin Bread
Tis the season for pumpkin everything! What I miss about being in the states around fall and the holidays is that everything is available in pumpkin spice flavor (my favorite!), here in the Netherlands not so much...
Me and my undomestic self made this spiced pumpkin bread (from a pack), but I am sure "this", "this", or even "this, gluten free" recipe is as easy and yummy if your determined for your spiced pumpkin bread :)
I did however make my own thyme honey cream-cheese, to slather on top once the spiced pumpkin bread is cooled off. add some fresh springs of thyme and some toasted pumpkin seeds on top.
Et Voila! Bon Appetit!

DIY Xmas Gift; Personal Hot Cocao
'Tis the season to sit inside and drink hot chocolate. Fa, la, la, la, la
These are easy to make, individual hot chocolate pouches you can gift this season.
What you need;-Mini marshmallows
-Instant cocoa mix (you could make it yourself, but I went ahead with the store bought one)
-Small plastic bags

-Straws
1. Pour about 4 table spoons of hot cocoa mix in the bag
2. Top with a hand full of mini mellows
3. Tie 'em up with the straws attached
4. Label 'em with your custom made labels (you can buy labels at a office supply store and simply print them at home)
Et Voila! Personal hot cocoa mix for a loved one!
