Styling Tips; Jeans Dress

One of my favorite pieces to wear on my day off is a jeans dress. I have one that I have worn so often that I don't dare to wear it no more(one post "here" another "here"). But jeans dresses are so easy! Even though it is more of a casual piece, you could dress it up or down.
So which look will you rock this weekend??

Styling tips; How to wear Cropped Trousers

I love the "cropped pants" trend, they remind me of Audrey Hepburn (who of course is one of my idols). If you wouldn't know how to wear these trousers, here are some styling tips!
Wear it with bold prints, platform heels and statement necklaces (my fav!)

Weekend Delights; Outfit, Flowers and Lunch ideas

One of my favorite pass times should be roaming the market, getting inspired by all sorts of things, getting some fresh goodies and flowers. That's exactly what I did the other day.

*Why not arrange your flowers in one of these (hermetic) jars instead of a regular vase.

Crostini Lunch;
Use rustic bread, that is bread that is a bit dense and chewy. With a baking brush, brush on some olive oil and toast in over for a few minutes.
Crostini 1. Soft goat cheese with nuts and honey, from the oven.
Crostini 2. Raspberry jam (or any other tangy jam), Parma ham and topped with arugula salad.
Crostini 3. With home made chunky guacamole. (Chop avocado, red onion, tomatoes add some lime/lemon juice salt and pepper)

Outfit Post; Pink & Turquoise

A quick outfit post of my latest, most comfy "uniform". Leopard print with a chambray shirt topped off with my latest DIY clutch. I just love canvas (unbleached cotton) fabric, combined with a neon pink fringe it ads the balance between laid back and funky chic.
Pants; Forever21, Chambray Shirt; J.Crew, Necklace; H&M (similar here), Shoes; Gap (old)

Outfit Post; Neons and Pastels

I'm all about mixing contrasts and I've recently been slowly incorporating pastels into my closet. So it only took time (and the change of weather) for these two trends to collide. I'm so very happy the weather gods have given us some sunny days again (but then now it's cold again, ooh Holland why this weather)
Blazer; BCBG, Wedges; Bertie, Skinny Belt; J.Crew, Top; Unknown brand (bought in Curaçao), Sunnies; Thrifted, Clutch & Bracelets; DIY

DIY; Festival Pouch

Happy Friday! here's a DIY for the weekend, it's as easy as 1,2,3 (almost). This one could make it to a crafts for dummies book! This little pouch is perfect to take to summer festivals or picnics or wherever!

1.Grab a circular object and outline it on the faux leather (the bigger the circle, the bigger the pouch)
 2. Follow the instructions of your eyelet kit and punch them in (make sure for an even number)
4. Fold circle in half and attach chain to eyelet on both sides
5. Pull the rope or ribbon through
6. Attach bolts or beads to the end of the rope/ribbon
Et Voila! Your own DIY Pouch, ready to wear!

Anna Dello Russo at H&M -- Autumn 2012

This is a collaboration I can't wait to see unveil! Take a look into Anna's house and closet. Her wardrobe is her expressive language she says and her closet is like a museum (it really is!) Something fun to look forward to upcoming fall!
