Outfit Post; Dalmatian Spots

I'm loving the latest "Dalmatian spot" trend and the lacquered pants trend. Both pieces are easy to transition into fall with, but for now I hope for just a few more hot days!

Styling Tips; Transitioning to Fall

Slowly, but surely fashion is transitioning to fall. The latest collections in all stores are fall fashion. And even though it seams that the weather and myself are not quite ready yet for this transition, I am looking forward to layering, new color pallets and interesting fabrics and textures.
Below some summer to fall styling :)

Picnic & Maxi Skirt

One of Amsterdam's summer charms is that as soon as the sun is shining, you see people sitting anywhere and everywhere. Along the canals, on the side of the street and the pac is packed everybody enjoying the nice weather. That's all we've been up to this weekend. Starting with an easy picnic last Friday (tip; no travel coffee mugs? use an empty glass jar).
Happy Monday!

Outfit Post; Lace Skirt

Once again I challenged myself to get the most out of my clothes. you might remember this "skirt" (actually a dress) "here" (click to view) as a dress in Portugal, or "here" (click to view) as a top. I have come to discover that this lace dress is very versatile!

Outfit Post; Palazzo Pants

In the hopes to be able to enjoy that last of what we in Holland call summer (the bi-polar effects of the weather; sunshine, rain, sunshine, rain), at least I got to wear some summer clothes in Curaçao.
Including my palazzo pants (don't you just think they scream summer?! I LOVE)

Salmon Tartar

Happy Monday! For those who follow me on Instagram, might have seen this dish come by somewhere last week. This recipe I got, inspired by a young chef I know in Spain. It was not the same as when he made it, but I did quite impress myself with this one.
It's as easy as 1, 2, 3!
What you need;
Fresh filet of salmon
Cherry tomatoes
Firm yet ripe avocado
Fresh Chives
Drop of olive oil
Some fresh (fruity) vinegar
White pepper
1. Cut everything up into little cubes and snip the chives in
2. Add the drop of olive oil, vinegar and white pepper to taste
3. Scoop it into a small spring form ad slightly press it down
Et voila! Your Salmon tartar ready to be served
note; serve by itself as an appetizer or with a side of fresh pasta as a main

Rainbow of Glitters

Did anybody in Amsterdam go watch the Gay Pride frenzy yesterday? I just happen to have this rainbow color umbrella and I wear it year round (not just on gay weekends) You might know that I love bold colors and am not afraid to wear them :) Nobody should be afraid to express themselves and that is what this weekend also entailed, I think. Happy Sunday!
