Spring's color obsession
I'm looking forward to spring already, as soon as the year changed I felt like automatically the season would too. I'm obsessing over minty green and tangerine :) hence the fringe in this; "DIY Fringe blazer" post. I think the color's are amazing on it's own, but also together. What do you think?

Coco Roco Choco - Recipe
I made these little nutty chocolates yesterday from scratch, just because we were craving some dessert. My cabinets are usually stocked well to whip up some sort of dessert, but this one was never thought of. I call it "Coco Roco Choco" and it is super easy!
What you need;-About 1 cup almond slivers
-About half cup crushed walnuts
-A few teaspoons of dry (unsweetened) coconut shavings
(of course you could use any type of nuts, I'd like to try pine nuts soon)
-Chocolate bar (milk or dark and about half bar)
1. Melt the chocolate au bain marie till completely melted.
2. Mix in the nuts
3. Drop a table spoon full on a sheet/plate
4. Sprinkle over the coco
5. Let it cool for about half hour in fridge
Et voila! Enjoy your Coco Roco Choco!!

Breakfast at Fayme's - 2011
We are almost halfway through January already, yet I still don't feel like the year has changed. Below is a little video compilation of almost everything I've been up to last year. The song is by a band from Kenya, "Just a band" they are called and I've been obsessed with it! It really gets you going.
Enjoy the video and Thank you for sticking with me :)

Outfit Post + DIY; Fringe Blazer
Hi There, for those who have been following me for a while must know this blazer :) I have worn it soo much! I bought it 2 springs ago at H&M. I thought I'd give it a new update for this coming spring. I love this minty sea blue fringe. What I did is change the button for a gold one and I used little press studs and hand sewn them on both the fringe and the blazer. This way I can still wear the blazer without fringe.

Home Decorating; Hibiscus Island, Bahamas
This must be heaven on earth. These bungalow's, no, mansions really are located on Harbor Island in the Bahamas. They are Ralph Lauren's, just like the man himself, classy, country chic (island style). Well I say book me an one way to this paradise!

Guest Post; New Years Resolution (by me)
Once again I got to write a guest post for Tereza from "Drastic Plastic". In honoring the new year I went for organizing of my creative space. I had never shared this with my followers yet either. Last summer we finally did something to this room, for the longest time (2years) it was basically not in use. Hope you get some tips for organizing :)

Outfit Post; Coral and Cargo
The spring collections are slowly taking over the racks in the stores and the sales have almost come and gone. Some of us might have dreamt of a white Christmas, but that never came, in fact it has not been too cold really. The top I'm wearing has a open slit in the back, must be nice for hot weather! I'm ready for the changing of the season now!
Top; H&M, Pants; J. Crew, Shopper; Dolce & Gabbana, Wedges; Banana Republic
My nail art; inspired by my cousin Thalita, who is very creative when it comes to nails. A neutral color (OPI-Dulce de Leche) white (nail art - LA Girl) and metallic (Essence) stripes.
Lipstick; MAC - Chatterbox

New Years Resolution
Happy New Year Lovelies!!
May your year be filled with awesomeness, fashion and that what makes you happy :)
With that said, have you defined your New Years Resolution? I think it should be something that you enjoy doing, but don't do to much of, instead of it being something you hate doing and not end up doing at all. A resolution should be a realistic goal, that would make a better you. So just forget about "keeping your room neath" (which we should do anyway) but, opt for that something fun in your life.
As you see my New Years Resolution is to watch more Independent film and classic (black&white) movies. We live above a small cinema that only shows Indie movies and we have been way too little, to start to ball rolling, we went the night of christmas and it was very nice. Definitely doing that more this year. What will you be doing more of this year??
XO
PS; Make a little collage or write it on a paper and keep it close with your daily routine. For example frame it and keep it on your desk. This way you will be reminded of it and it will be easier to keep up ;)

DIY; Last minute - New Years Outfit
The year is almost over and done, so I leave you with a last minute DIY, that serves as a nice budget friendly new years outfit. I'm going crazy for fringe at the moment. I got this glittery black and silver fringe at the fabric store, anything else you need is a simple stretchy black (or any color you like) cotton skirt (try "this" one).
You could go for either 1 layer or 2 (or more) for a fuller effect. Just keep in mind that the fringe band won't stretch with and needs to fit around your hips.
It's awesome to dance in!!
Hope everybody has a great NYE! and I wish you all a wonderful, fashionable upcoming year!
XO

Outfit Post; DIY Leather Sleeve Sweater
On the second day of Christmas we went for a stroll in the "central park" of Amsterdam a.k.a. Vondel park. I'm so happy I live 5 minutes away from the park.
I made this sweater on christmas morning. Perfect pass time for the holidays sitting inside, crafting/DIYing! The holidays were relaxing, at night we had some friends come over for left over snacks and a drink (or 2).
My Christmas present, mini Diana Lomography camera and my DIY Starbucks travel mug (I re-used wrapping paper to make my xmas mug)
Sweater; Uniqlo/DIY, Fur vest; DIY, Necklace; Accessorize, Pants; J. Crew Minnie, Loafers; Urban Oufitters
