Breakfast at Fayme's in the Kitchen; Tomato Tartlets

I made these babies for lunch the other day and boy where they good!
Super easy recipe to make this weekend for brunch or as an appetizer when having friends over...
 What you need;
-Rainbow colored cherry tomatoes
-Soft goat cheese
-Puff pastery
-Herbs like oregano and black pepper
-Olive oil
1. Half tomatoes
2. Spread the goat cheese in the middle of the puff pastry and lay halved tomatoes on top
3. Pinch together ends of the pastry season and brush some olive oil over top
4. Pop in the oven for +/-15 mins or until golden brown; oven on 180*C
 Drizzle good quality caramelized balsamic vinegar over (mine is from carmensaustraliankitchen.nl), top off with a basil leave,
Et voila!

Sunday's Savory Scones

Perfect for Sunday brunch, instead of your general sweet scones (Yumm!) I made savory scones instead, using my bday gift for the first time! They are delicious with cream cheese or just as a mid afternoon snack.

What you need;
  • 75g/3oz feta, cubed small
  • 50g/2oz sun-dried tomatoes, drained of oil and chopped (reserve 1 tbsp oil)
  • 175g/6oz self-raising flour
  • 50g/2oz wholewheat flour
  • ¼ level tsp baking powder
  • ¼ level tsp cayenne pepper
  • ¼ level tsp mustard powder
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp milk

    I followed this recipe on www.bbc.co.uk

Bon Appétit!
