Reinvent your closet; How to wear something old, this season

So I have been reinventing my clothes, always finding new ways to wear things you already own. This upcoming season you will see lots of sleeveless vests. I have had this little number for years, here on the tropical island you can wear it as a top. Instead of wearing it open, layered on top, you close it, worn on a midi skirt.

And what about a bustier you have had laying in the closet since last summer. Layer is with a simple white tee or if you dare even with a graphic tee, wear it with boyfriend jeans and sneakers for a laid back look or with a midi skirt and strap heels for more dressier look.

One playsuit, three ways, this shows how versatile one piece of clothing can be. Make it a sporty look by wearing slip-on sneaks, and a trendy bucket bag. Make it a total different outfit by wearing a skirt, using the upper half as top. Dress it up for night time by accessorizing with a belt and ankle-strap block heels.

Get the most out of your clothes

Lately I have been absent from blogosphere and also found myself in a pickle. Yesterday movers packed up our entire house and I had to pack clothes for "3 different seasons". I'm not complaining though! This afternoon we are flying to Italy and will be enjoying the Italian culture, just before moving back to my home-land, Curaçao. 

Here are a few tips on how to get the most out of your clothes and how to create multiple outfits with limited clothes!

By layering tops, tees and denim shirts over your playsuit, you multi use your playsuit as shorts...

Tie a denim shirt... layer a cropped tee... or a flowy top.

Aztec Lace

Once again I'm getting the most out of my clothes, wearing a playsuit as shorts by simply layering a top on top. Clashing Aztec print and lace for a refined yet playful touch.

Skirt Dressing

This little skirt number, is actually a dress. I often try to make the most of my clothes and wear a onsie as shorts or a dress as a skirt. I first wore this dress "here" and am not sure if I have ever worn it after. Sometimes it's good to re-invent the wardrobe you already have!

Le Boifriends Shirt

Snatched one of my boyfriends shirts again, a wider Hawaiian button down, paired it with a high waisted mini skirt. For a quick bite before heading off to work at "'t Blauwe Theehuis, Amsterdam" in the Vondel Park.
