Okay, my love for bougainvillea has grown to an obsession, but they are so pretty! My love for black and white stripes combined wit a flower print has also extended to a slight obsession. It is the perfect balance, two opposite prints and color vs monotone.

Short Weekend

Recreate the look; Lace all over

Yesterday I posted an upcoming trend; "Head to toe; Lace" (view it here). I recreated one of the spring looks by pairing black lace shorts and a black lace top and accessorized it with bold gold earrings a la Dolce & Gabbana Resort14. It's as easy as that! On Trend Resort14; Black & White; Lace all over

Planning my trip to Italy gets me excited for the pre-spring trends. One beautiful look is the "lace all over" either all black or all white. I love it, somewhat romantic and it reminds me of the Queen Elizabeth. Dating back to the late 16th century lace was popular in west Europe, mainly Italy and Spain. And even though the clothing styles have evolved over the centuries, the lace still remains.
