NYFW Street Style

While NY fashion week has come and gone for almost a week now, most fashion blogs, magazines and news papers are talking about the runway fashion (S/S2012), I'm still admiring the fashion show attendees. Editors, fashionista's and socialites, I rather get inspired by them then the runway shows them selves :) below are some of my top picks, loads of yellows, blacks, neutrals and interesting fabrics. Fall essentials; My accessories so far

A few fall accessories I look forward to wearing already :) some were gifted by my mom and some I bought this summer and have worn already.

This headband will keep your ears warm and your hair in place with the fall winds (H&M)

DIY: Neckless

This is actually a very old post, I never got around to posting it (OOPSY!!) and now I came across it. you might have even seen me wear it in "this outfit post". Making a neckless like this is as easy as 1,2,3 actually... 1,2 :)

1. Get supplies; A clear rhinestone piece of jewelry and clear glass paint in colors you wish to use.

2. Paint, Let it dry, Et Voila!! Ready to wear! :)

Outfit Post; 70's inspired

Hi lovelies, yet another outfit post. This top I made myself, sometimes I just walk into the fabric store with no ideas at all, like my creative switch is off and I'll let myself get inspired by what I see. This was one of those moments, I almost walked out with nothing. Then I looked all the was up (this place is filled with stuff from the floor to the roof) and saw this fabric and immediately knew what I wanted to make :) my switch was on again.

Outfit Post; Fall has fallen

Yup, this is it; fall. Rain, wind, cloudy and gorgeous color pallets. I've set my focus on burgundy, camel, army green, brick red, just all warm tones. This is a quick outfit post between the rain coming and going.

Hi Lovelies, I came to think that in fashion, weather plays such a big role. Of course fashion changes along with changing seasons. Sometimes the change in weather is so drastic here in holland, that we've been wearing fall clothing mid-summer. Just because with rainy and cloudy weather we are more drawn to darker and cozier fashion. Now that it's actually fall, here are a few essentials (according to me) for any budget. Outfit Post; Burgundy dress

Hey lovelies, an outfit post from something I wore last week. I made this dress myself. I wanted to make something with lace, there were so many pretty colors in the fabric store, but this burgundy really caught my eye. I remember having pants this color when I was a little girl, I never wanted to wear them because I thought it was such a grown-up color, now I wish I still had them (and fit in them). Love this color for fall!
