Happy Easter Inspirations

Easter is an excuse to eat, eat and eat some more.... for me it is really about spending time with family and friends (while eating). Last year we hosted 2 brunches (first and second day of easter) the year before that we had a lovely easter picnic in the park, this year we will probably end up brunching inside since it is still cold out!
What will you be doing this easter?
Below I share some inspiration for an easter brunch!
1. Make fresh fruit mini pavlovas
2. Wrap your sandwiches nicely for a picnic
3. Serve fruit infused water
 4. Serve koffie in jars and have tulips (very Dutch, very spring)
5. Simply glue on sequins for chic egg decorations
 6. Have brunch outside (if the weather permits)
7. Chalkboard eggs for some fun interaction and craftiness
 8. Bake with easter candies
9. Tie fresh herbs or flowers to an egg for a fresh original centerpiece
 10. Hide a sweet message in an egg for your loved ones
11. Use fresh fruit and pastel colored flowers for center piece
12. present your flowers in halved and decorated eggs in a egg carton
I hope you get to spend your easter with family or friends!
Happy easter!

These items make me think of the alt of summer, maybe whilst vacationing in the middle east. exploring new territories. Or maybe just feel as if you are a worldly globe trotter in your own hometown.
Think mirrored details, tassels and pom-pons, interesting prints and woven fabrics.

LPD All Year Round

Like mentioned in yesterday's post, The Little Print Dress is very versatile and can be worn all year round.
A easy layering staple; wear a button down denim shirt underneath for a preppy spring look with lady like flats.
Wear it with sandals and a vest for summer festivities.
For fall dress it up with brogues and a fuzzy sweater and for winter double up on the prints with playful polkadot tights and a belted faux fur vest to keep warm.
Have you found your LPD yet??

Happy Sunday

A breakfast yogurt with hemp and chia seeds, fresh blood orange and mango juice.
blood orange is a good change from regular orange or grapefruit. I got mine from a Farmers market last weekend, they are winter fruits so almost out of season (get your hands on 'em while you can!).
Since becoming a pescatarian I have also been into discovering different foods and "super foods".
Hemp and chia seeds add great nutritional values to your daily meals. For example, hemp is high in protein and chia seeds can be used to substitute butter in any baking recipe as well!

I'm off to a yoga detox class!
Happy Sunday!
