I got invited to check out Mayiu's collection of bags and belts, each piece is unique and really a little piece of art. Designer Marianne has a gift for pairing colors together, once was the queen of mosaic, creating wonderful pieces of art with the most beautiful color combinations. After years of intense mosaic work, she moved onto creating finer, more delicate pieces of art; Mayiu Bags and Belts.
Mayiu, meaning "mother and daughter" in my native language in Curaçao, this mother, daughter duo is a ever creative pair.
The bags are made with delicate embellishments and luxe fabrics, mainly silks.
