On our way back from Boston, we stopped over in Iceland for 2 days (Iceland air allows you to do this). We had no idea what to expect and what we got was breathtaking landscapes, green yet volcanic rocky, still massive lakes and exploding geysers and waterfalls! It is an absolutely beautiful country. Lovely people and amazing food , definitely worth going back to one time, hopefully in the winter time (it is said to be a different world).
