Weekend by the sea

Rediscovering my island is a delight. Last weekend we drove around and ended up at a fishers bay Boca Sami, St. Michiel. we had an amazing lunch of fresh fish and "funchi hasa" something like polenta fries. For dessert local ladies walk around selling fresh pastries like "tert di coco" a coconut pie-like pastry.
Spending time along the water is amazing and here in CuraƧao this is possible everyday!

Aztec Lace

Once again I'm getting the most out of my clothes, wearing a playsuit as shorts by simply layering a top on top. Clashing Aztec print and lace for a refined yet playful touch.
Enjoy summer while you can!

Kitchens on Wheels

Yesterday we went to "Rollende Keukens" which is a food festival with kitchens on wheels. There are different cuisine's, coffee specialists, creperies, tapas bars, a foodies heaven! Also awesome live music and a great atmosphere. It runs till Sunday may 12th, so if you are in Amsterdam it's definitely worth to go there, and remember; Don't eat before you go!

I believe they serve horse burgers here.... which is the new meat just ask UFC fighter Alistair Overeem. The cutest little Italian coffee car-bar on the picture below.

Joggers & Peplums

One piece I recently discovered that I love to wear are these jogging pants. They are super comfortable and since you would usually wear them with running shoes and a sports bra, I though of giving them a chic look with a pair of heels and a feminine peplum.
No one said fashion can't be comfortable :)

CadaquƩs, Spain in Snapshots

CadaquĆ©s is a tiny town on the North-East of spain. Home to Famous artist Salvador Dali who lived and worked in his house, as displayed as he had left it after he died. As you drive in, from a zig-zag road through the mountins (the only way in-and-out of town), you notice all houses and buildings are white, with primarily blue, or deep red or green windows and doors. The delicious Spanish foods like; Jamon IbĆ©rico, Manchego cheese and Pan con Tomate. The weather is great, views are beautiful an the peope are friendly.
You should definitely stop by one time!
Benvinguts a CadaquƩs!! My weekend in snapshots in Spain.
