Party Pants

I put on my party pants, since we were celebrating the album release of a friend last night. In a cozy little place called "G&T, a really, really nice place". We got a taste of the album by them playing some songs live.  It's a combination of latin and jazzy tunes, makes you think of Curaçao. You can find the album "here" on I-Tunes it is by Jean-Jacques Rojer, Le Trip.

Fall Layering; Hot Pink, Burgundy and Leopard

I like experimenting with textures, prints and above all, colors. It's the perfect season for experimenting (with all the above) because it's layer season!

So hereby I layer, Burgundy cords, with a hot pink chunky cable knit and just a peek-a-booh of black 'n white leopard print. Tie it all together with metallic flats and a deep purple nail lacquer.

Green Faux Leather Skirt

There I go again with my (faux) leather craze. This is the skirt I DIYed a while back, which in "this post" I said "stay tuned" to see what it has become.... I finally got the chance to wear it since it is becoming fall quite rapidly. One thing is for sure... It keeps you booty hot :) Happy Weekend!

Neon Leopard Nails

As promised, here is the secret behind yesterdays nails. The polish is "American Apparel - Neon yellow" (obvious) and the stickers are from Essence (Dutch shoppers; Available at Kruidvat and US; Check Ulta).

The nail stickers come in a variety of designs, lace, grafitti etc. and of course you can use any color of polish underneath the gel stickers (but oh how I love colors that pop)  

Note; It only sticks for 1 day (an excuse not to do the dishes)

Season's changing

 It's around that time of year where sweaters are being pulled out. My first sweater of the season, Just got it in from Mango. Worn with J. Crew's Pixie pant and oxfords.

I have a confession to make... I have been lusting after (faux) leather! It is not only hot* in the summer, but one of falls biggest trends. I feel like summer is almost really over, the weather is getting a little breezier with a crisp fall-ish wind. I say come on over fall!

Funfetti Nails

Unfortunately for work I cannot wear any nail polish, fortunately I'm on vacation and have the freedom of painting my nails however you like! My visit to Curaçao this time includes many birthday celebrations to my loved ones :)

Enjoying the hot Cadaqués weather and the street party called "San Juan" where there is lots of fire works, music and dancing through-out the streets of this little town. Staying up till early in the morning, watching the sunrise. Like New Years on Curaçao! I love it!
