Salmon Tartar

Happy Monday! For those who follow me on Instagram, might have seen this dish come by somewhere last week. This recipe I got, inspired by a young chef I know in Spain. It was not the same as when he made it, but I did quite impress myself with this one. 

It's as easy as 1, 2, 3!

What you need;

Fresh filet of salmon 

Cherry tomatoes

Firm yet ripe avocado

Fresh Chives

Drop of olive oil

Some fresh (fruity) vinegar

White pepper

1. Cut everything up into little cubes and snip the chives in
2. Add the drop of olive oil, vinegar and white pepper to taste
3. Scoop it into a small spring form ad slightly press it down

Et voila! Your Salmon tartar ready to be served

note; serve by itself as an appetizer or with a side of fresh pasta as a main

Rainbow of Glitters

Did anybody in Amsterdam go watch the Gay Pride frenzy yesterday? I just happen to have this rainbow color umbrella and I wear it year round (not just on gay weekends) You might know that I love bold colors and am not afraid to wear them :) Nobody should be afraid to express themselves and that is what this weekend also entailed, I think. Happy Sunday!

Rainbow Pop

 I just got these earrings in from Asos.com (On sale now! "here"). I thought they would transition perfectly into fall, with the emerald green and the light pink color combo. 

Tomorrow Is Gay Pride in Amsterdam and in honoring them, my Papabubble rainbow pop! (sugar overdose!)

Love her style; upcoming artist Rita Ora. This Brit-chick has a fun "good-bad-girl" style; playful, stylish, just plain her. She reminds me of a mix of Rihanna and Gwen Stefani (pre-kids), tough girls glam. 

I'm all about the balance of opposites anyway and she is a perfect fashion muse!

Birthday Bash

Last week, vacationing on Curaçao there was one special occasion. My mothers big birthday. My sister and I organized and prepped the fiesta which turned out to be a big success!

Outfit Post; Candy Stripes

One of the things I love most about Curaçao is the colorful houses. Since Curaçao used to be a Dutch colony, the architecture is quite European, but then very colorful! lots of houses have front like the typical houses in Amsterdam for instance. The windows look romantic with the white wooden shutters. The houses were built like that so they could lock the windows at night, but keep the shutters open for the breeze. I love Curaçao and it's architecture!
