Tangerine Peplum & Minty Green

I just happened to walk passed this top on my way to the cash register and fell in love with it. I never try on clothes in the stores (this is why I love 30 day return policies), but just my luck, it was too big. I jumped on their website to see if they had it on there, but nothing, called service center, went to all H&M's in the whole city, but my size was no where to be found. So I brought it to a seamsters, and got it fixed, I have never ever done so much for one item, but I LOVE it!

I just ordered these a few days ago via Asos.com. they are on major sale now (available here), besides these beauties they have much more for a nice price. I can't wait to wear these and share my outfit! The heel is so comfortable, I'll be walking with them around the house  all day.

Hi Lovelies, It's been rainy weather again here in Holland (nothing new). It can be nice because it gives you time to do "inside-stuff". DIYing, organizing, studying (at least I try to). I do allow myself to go out while studying to get some fresh air ;) 

I got this shirt last weekend, the girl in the store said that t had just come in. I'm definitely taking this one into next season, which hopefully gives us some more sunshine.

Beauty Products; Eye Shimmer

Every year around the holidays MAC Cosmetics brings out a set of pigments, I love them! I tend to want to buy them every year, but honestly I take for ever with one little pot. You really only need a tiny tad bit and the color is very intense already. I wanted to give some to my dear friend because It feels like a never ending pigment. I found the perfect solution, Pill boxes! They are easy to take with on vacation (so you don't need to take the whole bottle or to share with friends, which I did. Hope you can use this tip! XO

Outfit Post; New See By Chloé Boots

I've had this dress laying around for a while now, just never got the chance to "outfit-post" it. Now I finally do, with my new boots too. I got these boots through an auction site called;  Vault79, they auction of a few designer items everyday. These things can be tricky and you need to know your limits. Luckily I got them for about 1/3 of the retail price! It was so exciting seeing the clock count down and knowing these Chloé's were mine!

Elisa is a stylist and design consultant. Born in Italy but currently living in Paris, fashion capitol where she belongs.

She has a quirky yet very chic style and is not afraid to mix colors and patterns. I absolutely love it! She also shows this in her editorial work, lots of mixed colors and patterns. Definitely inspiration to me!

Last friday it was quite nice out. The sun was shining and the sky was clear (this means it was cold though). I went out for a stroll, just taking everything in. I visited some thrift shops; Episode and Lady Day and had the best club-sandwich from Vennington, where I always go for a good club.

Spring's color obsession

I'm looking forward to spring already, as soon as the year changed I felt like automatically the season would too. I'm obsessing over minty green and tangerine :) hence the fringe in this; "DIY Fringe blazer" post. I think the color's are amazing on it's own, but also together. What do you think? 

Coco Roco Choco - Recipe

I made these little nutty chocolates yesterday from scratch, just because we were craving some dessert. My cabinets are usually stocked well to whip up some sort of dessert, but this one was never thought of. I call it "Coco Roco Choco" and it is super easy!

 What you need;
-About 1 cup almond slivers
-About half cup crushed walnuts
-A few teaspoons of dry (unsweetened) coconut shavings
(of course you could use any type of nuts, I'd like to try pine nuts soon)
-Chocolate bar (milk or dark and about half bar)

1. Melt the chocolate au bain marie till completely melted.
2. Mix in the nuts  
3. Drop a table spoon full on a sheet/plate
4. Sprinkle over the coco
5. Let it cool for about half hour in fridge

 Et voila! Enjoy your Coco Roco Choco!!

Outfit Post + DIY; Fringe Blazer

Hi There, for those who have been following me for a while must know this blazer :) I have worn it soo much! I bought it 2 springs ago at H&M. I thought I'd give it a new update for this coming spring. I love this minty sea blue fringe. What I did is change the button for a gold one and I used little press studs and hand sewn them on both the fringe and the blazer. This way I can still wear the blazer without fringe.

This must be heaven on earth. These bungalow's, no, mansions really are located on Harbor Island in the Bahamas. They are Ralph Lauren's, just like the man himself, classy, country chic (island style). Well I say book me an one way to this paradise!
