A few days ago I posted how to DIY a peplum out of a regular shirt, today I'm changing up the sleeves of a plain tee for leather ones.

Outfit Post; Pink & Turquoise

A quick outfit post of my latest, most comfy "uniform". Leopard print with a chambray shirt topped off with my latest DIY clutch. I just love canvas (unbleached cotton) fabric, combined with a neon pink fringe it ads the balance between laid back and funky chic.

Outfit Post; Neons and Pastels

I'm all about mixing contrasts and I've recently been slowly incorporating pastels into my closet. So it only took time (and the change of weather) for these two trends to collide. I'm so very happy the weather gods have given us some sunny days again (but then now it's cold again, ooh Holland why this weather)

DIY; Festival Pouch

Happy Friday! here's a DIY for the weekend, it's as easy as 1,2,3 (almost). This one could make it to a crafts for dummies book! This little pouch is perfect to take to summer festivals or picnics or wherever!

1.Grab a circular object and outline it on the faux leather (the bigger the circle, the bigger the pouch)
 2. Follow the instructions of your eyelet kit and punch them in (make sure for an even number)
4. Fold circle in half and attach chain to eyelet on both sides
5. Pull the rope or ribbon through
6. Attach bolts or beads to the end of the rope/ribbon
Et Voila! Your own DIY Pouch, ready to wear!

Anna Dello Russo at H&M -- Autumn 2012

This is a collaboration I can't wait to see unveil! Take a look into Anna's house and closet. Her wardrobe is her expressive language she says and her closet is like a museum (it really is!) Something fun to look forward to upcoming fall!

Outfit Post; Burgundy & Neon Yellow

An unexpected nice day, perfect calling for my new shorts. I actually scored these in the mens department of H&M. I like to roam the mens department all the time, I get socks, accessories and now even clothes. Lucky us, girls being able to shop not only in the girls department, but also boys. I think more eyebrows rise if the roles were reversed.

Street Style; Queen's Day Style

Queens day in Amsterdam is one big party. Yesterday it was that time of the year again, everybody was out celebrating the Queens birthday. The national color of Holland is orange and thus is it a "must" to wear something orange on this day. Some people go all out or dress up silly, while others do it with style. I'm sharing some fashionable ladies who incorporated orange into their wardrobe on this special day.

Above; Bright orange paired with leopard print and finishing touch of Hermes
Below; A bright flowy orange top with navy blue, tres chic! topped off with a hat as a shield for the sun

Outfit Post + DIY Summer Statement Tee {Video}

I discovered iron-on paper and have been obsessing over DIY tee's. This is the latest one with a tutorial video. The shirts I make are playful, no need for a statement necklace with this one, the fringe has it covered. These shirts are fun for a festival in the summer or so or on a rainy day(got to make it work in this "Holland weather")
Shorts; Urban Outfitters, Wedges; Bertie, Neon Stud Bracelets; Forever21, Nail polish; (hands) MAC - Brown Paper Bag, (feet) Essie - Boat House
