The Denim Shirt has been around for a few seasons now, because it is so versatile. If you do not own one yet, go get yourself one now! It is like wearing a pair of jeans with a cute print top, but then your wearing a denim top and can wear anything; cute, printed, shorts or long skirts at the bottom.

It's a fun way to play with color or color block while having your mono-tone suit as a basic. You may also find lots of printed suits which I am loving right now! Opt for a short version for a more playful feel to it and it is perfect for running around town.

Black on Black

Dresses like these make me want to twirl all day long. I got this dress as a breezy summer staple, however the weather does not allow me to wear it bare legged yet, so I paired it with faux leather leggings and my trusty Converse for a pop of color.

Cacti & Succulents; 2 Ways

Last weekend I flipped my house, with that comes new DIY home projects and new plants! I love these little guys and I share 2 fun ways to display them while re-using tin cans.

Make a little succulent garden by displaying them in a type of small green-house or square vase. (see images above and below).

Second project are hanging succulents...

What you will need; 

- Cans

- Nail + Hammer

- Paint + paint brush

- Tape

- Rope 

1. Hammer in holes on each side, for the cans to be able to hang.

2. Tape them where you would like to paint them.

 3. Pull through a rope, string or like I used raffia.

Asparagus Fritata

One of spring's seasonal vegetables I look forward to are asparagus. The are so delicious, even all on their own as a mid-day snack! For brunch I made a wholesome asparagus fritata with goat cheese. 

Perfect for upcoming weekend!  

What you need;
- Asparagus
- Red Onion 
- Crumbled Goat Cheese
- 2 Eggs (beaten with a splash of milk)
- Spring Onion
- Potato; sliced thinly(optional)

1. Fry the onions and asparagus with some garlic oil, season with salt & pepper.

2. Fry thinly sliced potato till golden brown. 

3. Add onions and asparagus back in, pour egg mixture, crumbled goat cheese and spring onions

4. Cover with lid on a low fire, until fritata is done. 

Optional; Top off with fresh corn and cucumber salad
